The elegant, collectible, "Goldenwave," is a hand cut, mirror polished gold sheet with an ebony wood base that is trimmed in fine Scottish leather. The Weisbecks have also been selected from a field of 2,600 international entries to be finalists in the 2008 Beijing Olympics Landscape Sculpture Competition, the first official art contest in the history of the Games. They are two of only eight Americans so honored and the only artists to represent New York.
